Keyhole laproscopic surgeries

A surgical technique known as laparoscopy enables a surgeon to access the belly (tummy) and pelvis from the inside without having to make significant skin incisions. This process is sometimes referred to as minimally invasive surgery or keyhole surgery.

You won't remember having a laparoscopy because it is carried out when you are unconscious and under general anaesthesia. Frequently, you can return home the same day.

You will often be instructed to refrain from eating or drinking anything for 6 to 12 hours prior to your laparoscopic operation, depending on the specific type being performed.
